I recently dined at a restaurant above the olympic pool next to the Sydney Harbour Bridge called Aqua Dining. I have dined at some pretty cool restaurants around Sydney but this one has something special...the food was like everywhere else, but exceptional.

Hi greg,
Sounds like a great setting! A restaurant in Tokyo that i went to was themed
as under the sea. Your we're surrounded by fish tanks and your table and chairs were fish tanks too. Great experience and great sashimi as you can imagine! |

Sounds cool. Have you ever been to the 'Boatshed' restaurant in Glebe? Great location, I've always been envious - it would be better suited as an Ad agency...mine.

Have you been to Ripples at Chowder Bay (near Mosman)? It's owned by the same people who own Aqua Dining. Apparently it has an amazing waterfront location, though I've heard mixed reviews about the food and service. Wondering whether it's worth making the trip out there?

Yes, I had dinner at Ripples only last week. Unfortunately it was dark, no view of the harbour - just a room enclosed by plastic blinds. I think it would be stunning in the day time though. The food was good but not the same vibe as Aqua, I'll go back.
