like you,Owen I am a stalker.Mostly use them on the hill, but have used them in forestry too.Dont find they wobble at all, think because they are quite compact they seem to be easy to steady,on some duller days I wonder why Im carrying the telescope because the leicas give a much sharper image, despite being half the magnification.Tried a guests pair of leica 10x42s with the rangefinder built in,they are a really handy piece of kit,bit out of my price range, though!Do you have a multiplier for your swarovskis?

I slum it with an old set of 7x50 stieners ex german army. Great focus and bomb proof. Very sharp image and ideal for working woodland. Have my fathers old bino's swift 10x50 and yamaha 20x50. Used the 10x50 a lot when I was a stalker. 20x50 was a waste of space. you could see the flys on the stags butt ate over a mile but you had not a hope of locating it when you took the glasses of your nose. Cannot justify the cost of posh ones yet, Jim

Ziess or Swaro, the new Swaro ELs have a slightly more colourfull image than my Ziess B/GAT 7x42s when I did a comparison a few years ago.
