Look at the front of "The Subtle Knife" by philip pullman.
Then read it.

| Why? I read Northern Lights and it bored me to death but my family are on at me to read the lot. I've borrowed that one from my brother but he can't expect it back anytime soon. |

They are on at you to read the lot? Huh?
Does that mean what I think it means? |

| They all think they're completely superb and that I really should read them or my life will not be complete. He won't get it back because I won't start it for the next *counts on fingers* - well, at least 6 months, and I'll read it very slowly. So if that's what you thought it was, yes. |

Ah, okay, it was almost what I thought!
I actually thought they wanted you to read a lot more (not only His Dark Materials, which I liked, btw). |

On His Dark... well, I didn't like the third that much, either, but (!) I would still recommend reading it, because...it's just stupid to read the first two parts of a trilogy.
And the ending is nice and all. Just these will-animals, I HATE 'EM!!!
Okay...yeah, next time I will try to produce a text with real sentences, that may or may not make sense. |

Thought: wow, I'm so stupid.
Where I wrote "will" I meant wheel. Sorry for that. |

I thought they were quite intresting - could they exist without a designer? cos if not (and I think not) then the aethist argument of the books is completly undermined. _________________ I'd be an insomniac if i had the energy.

I loved the third! Part of the point of the wheeled animals is that they were the first things to create dust. So, LOGICALLY - if she weighs the same as a s... The elegance lies in that the first creatures could move fine, but not far or fast (See the "cattle" that they herd) until one happened across the wheel - and when (s)he worked out how they could use it, they had intelligence for the time - generating the dust that created jenova, metatron, etc etc etc. _________________ D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: D: |

I carry on in Lostsoul's memory, apparently! ^_^
I didn't like the third much at all. I don't even remember it much anymore, tbh.... _________________ Don't open that Traaapdooooor!
