Ft Lauderdale $392/month. Or $14/day for diskettes. If I chose liquid it would be $13/day.

I'm also in Indiana, they charge 13 per day for liquid. I go every two weeks so I pay $182 on every visit. _________________ "I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I'm not." |

I pay nothing. I'm in King County (WA) where we have a voucher program for people who can't afford their methadone treatment. _________________ [-thelung-] |

hi,
2 years ago, at UDAP in omaha, which is now BAART, I paid sliding scale $35.00 /month.
At Dr.'s office I paid sliding scale $35.00 for the office visit, then another $30.00 for the script.
I still haven't found out if I can go back to BAART ( dr. disapeared, see thread, "Back to square one") so I don't know if I can find Dr. Langdon anywhere. BARRT does not return my phone calls so far, so I guess I'll have to actually go there to get any questions answered.

| i am supposed to pay $370 a month. it sounds like these clinics are talking to each other to fix the prices at close to the same level. its too bad everybody in every clinic that is being charged these overpayments don't get together and get a lawyer to lobby for us in washington, its the only way to get anything changed, pay off the politician in charge of this |

I pay $70/week, or if one pays daily, it's $11/day. So there is a *small* discount for weeklies or for paying a week at a time. One can pay $270/month and get another small discount that way, I'm told. No one gets bumped up to monthlies at this clinic anymore, though, and I don't know anyone who pays by the month. _________________ after all it was a great big world

At my clinic here in TN everyone pays $11/day or $77/week or like me $154/every 2 weeks..The only exception to the $77 per week is if your drug screens are dirty then u are charged an extra $10 per week until they are cleared up..To pay for the extra test you have to take weekly..
These prices were the same at the clinic I attended in Jackson,tn for 5yrs before I transferred to the one in dyersburg.. and have been the same the entire 5.5yrs i have been on MMT.. |

| Here in australia i pay 24.00 dollars a week, which is US about 20.00, doctors visits for prescription is free. This price is the same for everyone working or not as its pharmacy dispensing fee and paperwork, this price is for methadone liquid and or Bup. The government actually supplies the pharmacies with the methadone free, but the pharmacist set's the cost, In Sydney i hear it can be as much as 7.00 a day at some pharmacies. |

| NGTC in Georgia - $98.00 per week or $396.00 per month...These prices are ridiculous for people in treatment. For example, if you only make minimum wage pay then it will take almost two weeks of full time work to pay for your treatment or medication counting upkeep of the automobile used to travel back and forth. There are many of us whom have to travel to another state because of the draconian ways of the state they live in - and this transport costs add up...Something does nedd to be done because I feel we are being taken advantage of!!! |

I know I'm probably beating a dead horse (I really don't like that saying) but I have to say it again. I'm going on my 25th year of maintenance. I get diskettes, monthly, a fairly low dose of 30mg that's been stable for close to 10 years. I'm comfortable with it, travel around the world for my work, and see no reason to drop any further or switch to bup.
However, this $400/month is just getting absolutely ridiculous. I know it doesn't matter if I were on 1000mg/month or 10mg/month, that's the charge. Unlike OBOT in Baltimore, the charge is the same, independent of your dose. OBOT charges depending on your dose as it should be.
Anyway, showing up once a month, having had clean U/A's for over 15 years, never having a problem, why do I pay even more for diskettes than I would for liquid and such a extravagant fee? Again, I've called, written letters to the powers to be at Colonial Management to no avail. The old story, if you want to pay less, detox!
Sorry if I'm just repeating older posts it just bugs me more and more as I approach my late 50's (yeah, with no medical coverage), independent contractor.
Especially for such a cheap medication...literally pennies per 40 mg diskette. I guess I should be thankful I'm not on the street spending all my income on street drugs (or pharmaceuticals) but it's all relative.
Thanks again guys for letting me vent and best wishes to all. Keep up the great work on one of the greatest sites online. Send some of you cool October weather down here to south Florida where we suffer!? from 90 degrees days, 75 degrees nights and daily thunderstorms!!!! Take good care.

I went to DSHS yesterday because I'm on unemployment and applied for food stamps and medicare. Well I make $1200 a month. Rent and utilities combined are $575, pay as you go cell phone $25 a month, car insurance because I have 2 cars one I don't even drive but get charged for $80 a month food $150 a month and clinic cost's me $360 a month. Thats Plus $ 1200 a month and minus $1110 a month leaving me a whoping $90 dollars a month to spend on other things like gas and dog food. Well they denied me medical and gave me $16 a month in food stamps. I just want to go to school to get my Lab Tech degree and have some money but I cannot even find a job what to do what to do. Well at least I'm alive and I pray every day for a answer and better life. Good luck to you all. PLUR _________________ "Why is abbreviation such a long word?" |

I pay $380 per month ! Those here at Watchdog no my strong opinion's against the overcharging clinic system. Iam at my wits end ,yet the only ones who seem to care are other patients who are in simular sutuation of having MMT take a big chunk on their monthly income !
